Below are projects which have already been presented.
Landscape Evolution at the Regional Science Center. A geologic survey has been conducted in tandem with archaeological investigations to study the influence landscape evolution has played on the occupation and activities of indigenous peoples in the area now occupied by the MSUM Regional Science Center. Research is focused on the role that landscape development has played in the preservation of archaeological sites, correlation of depositional units across the Science Center, and the development of a site selection model for increasing the likelihood of locating preserved archaeological sites.
Research was presented on the local factors influencing preservation of buried soils.
Research on multiple locations at the Regional Science Center and analysis of cores taken on site was presented.
